Kathmandu – The new digital and physical AKL Lumi currency is rapidly gaining popularity across African countries and is now spreading globally, with significant adoption in several regions.


The Nation of Hawai’i has also approved the use of this innovative currency, marking a new era in global trade. The AKL Lumi is increasingly seen as a transformative tool in financial systems around the world.


Lumi currency has gained notable traction in Africa, with DSA MBANK, a subsidiary of MBANK Poland, leading a strategic partnership with the African Diaspora Central Bank (ADCB). This collaboration aims to expand the use of the Lumi currency in key Francophone countries such as Togo, Mali, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, and Benin.


Designed to promote economic integration and financial inclusion, the Lumi currency is quickly becoming a significant player in Africa’s financial landscape. Mr. Donkor N’Kpedji Adeyma, CEO of DSA MBANK, emphasized the growing momentum behind Lumi, stating, “The Lumi currency is not just another digital currency; it is a tool for economic empowerment and financial inclusion that deeply resonates with the aspirations of African communities. In addition, Dr. Tejendra Sharma Poudel has been appointed as Nepal’s special envoy. Dr. Poudel has played a significant role in advancing Nepal’s tourism, trade, and bilateral relations, making him a key figure in fostering international cooperation.
