Kathmandu. Senior Nepali tourism entrepreneur and social activist Tejendra Poudel has been appointed as Nepal’s representative of Global Chamber of Business Leaders. The Board of Global Chamber of Business Leaders has appointed him as a representative for two years.
Its headquarters is in Switzerland.

The Global Chamber of Business Leaders is an alliance of government leaders, CEOs and executives, entrepreneurs, investors and business and industry leaders. which embraces a common vision of sustainable welfare, business development and an ever-evolving global economy.
The Global Chamber of Business Leaders promotes to partners, members and participants the importance of incorporating the Sustainable Development Goals into future business models to prepare their businesses and prioritize activities in line with the UN-declared Decade of Action.
Poudel, who is also the chairman of Village Tourism-Nepal (VITOUN), has been active in tourism for three decades. He has been involved in the development of tourism in the country by holding various responsibilities in various international organizations.
